310S STAINLESS STEEL sheet

SAE 310S stainless steel is a low carbon version of 310 and is recommended for applications that are susceptible to sensitization by high temperature gases or condensate during shutdown and subsequent corrosion that can be problematic. SAE 310 stainless steel is a high alloy austenitic stainless steel for high temperature applications. The high chromium and nickel contents give the steel excellent oxidation resistance as well as high strength at high temperatures. The grade is also very ductile and has good weldability, allowing it to be widely used in many applications.
